Default A Question of Lug Nuts for a 1998 Honda Accord LX

Hi Everyone. Have a 1998 Accord LX 4 cylinder. Came to me with factory steel rims and the factory plastic hub caps. The hub caps are held on by factory lugs that have the rubber ring that holds on the hubcap itself. From what I understand, you cannot use these with factory alloy rims. I purchased a nice set of alloy rims recently to use during the summer (oem) with the exposed lugs. This set has a small 2 3/4 center cap that don't interfere with the mounting as they are exposed. I also recently purchased a set of used factory oem alloy rims with winter tires already mounted on them. On this set, the lugs are hidden behind the 6 3/4 center wheel cover. The problem is that the lug nuts extend out to far and prevent closure of the 6 3/4 center wheel cover. I believe that these came off of a mid 1990 Honda Accord EX. Does anybody know if Honda actually made 3 or more different sets of lug nuts. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
