i just finshed this swap and i'm getting 2 codes p1298 ELD high voltage and p0117 ECT Sensor Circuit Low Input

car 99 hatch
swap 00 itr

the only things i'v changed was the altanator plug...the swap had a 0bd1 altanator so the plug was different....i cut the plug off the si harness and put a obd1 plug on it....i have read threw this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=448105
the #15 fues was not blown and i dont see any cut wires under the intake.....i'm really lost on this one and dont know where to go from here...if any of you guys could help it would be well appreciated

you need an obd2 altenator most likely. not only is the plug different, but the innards might be different too. as for the ECT sensor, you might just need to clean the contacts for it

 

does anybody know this for sure.....i really dont want to wast money on a altantor if thats not the problem....the one from my sohc will not bolt up right

 

i'v also tried taking the plug out of the altanator and runing the car i still get the same code....anybody have any more idea's
