Racing Harts SUCK!!!
Well I got a set of Racing Hart CP-8's in bronze a couple months ago, 17's wrapped with 205/40 Yokohama Parada tires, There kept at just above 40psi and I already have 2 wheels with bent lips. I don't recall hitting any big pot holes or anything else in the road and I'm wondering are these just really S***ty set of wheels?
Has anyone else had thins problem?

sorry to hear that. Ive been down this road quite a few times. S03s have a super stiff sidewall which have helped me lots. I would give em a try. If you need them fixed send them to turbax in miami. They are good!
40 PSI?
Is that kinda high tire pressure for those tires. My friend has Racing Hart C2's with Toyo proxes 205/40 and has only bent one wheel so far. Tire pressure is usually at about 25 PSI.

Only reason I bent that wheel is cause I hit a huge pot hole going 90mph on the highway and i run Race springs that are stiff as ****..
Racings Hart are tuff mother ****** wheels, if i did to some other wheels what I do to these they would all be fucked up..

haha 40+ is crazy. If you had it right it might have helped. i got 215/35/18's and i've only bent one rim (note that i've hit some really big potholes and even a crossbeam on the highway).
Doesn't help that the Paradas suck *** anyway.
That is because the rims you have are not "real" Racing Harts. From what I've been told Dazz Motorsports has the rights to the Racing Hart name and most of the rims they lable as Racing Hart are not made by Hart Japan. Only the CP035, CPR, Type C2, Type C5, ect.
I'm not dissing your rims because I do like the CP-8's but I'm not sure if they are the same quality as the Japanese made models.

actually, I had a set of cp-8's also, 17 inch. They bent so easily it was sick. I never once hit anything with them, but little bends would show up. And almost all of the cp-8's I ever saw in real life, had bent lips. That model rim as a whole isn't too good IMO. I've had other racing hart rims before, and they were really good. So saying all racing harts suck isn't true. Some models are definitely better/stronger than others.

whether or not the evolution line is manfactured in japan it is still a good quality wheel for its price range.. When you compare those wheels to other brands wheels for the same price you get a 100 times better looking wheels and better quality.. the evo's may not be as good as the regulars but they are still worlds above enkie, konig, katana and all those wheels..
sorry if I offended anyone with the topic name, I've had many other sets of wheels and this is the only set I've had that bent this easily, so I was a little pissed when writing this.
...and yeah the max pressure on my Parada's is 44psi. so I really don't think keeping them at 40psi is bad for them.

I have the first generation Racing Hart C2's (3-piece rims) in 17" w/ 205/40 Toyo Proxes Tires. I bough them from DAZZ back in 95. 3 of them have bent lips, 1 is very bad. But hey, I'm not complaining, I drive the hell out of the car.

I agree also, Enkei is not a bad quality wheel, I just think they have weak designs and the over all "look" of the wheel doesnt look as nice as a Racing Hart, even the Evolution line..

What would led you to that conclusion? Have you even owned them?? Do you actually know anything about them?? You sound very uneducated when you make a statement like that and don't back it up with any sort of evidence. I've had my Paradas for 3000 miles and have had no problems what so ever. They're actually a great tire.

have you ever owned any OTHER tire? The paradas are HORRIBLE!!
- horrible wet traction
- LOUD
- ugly (subjective)
- average handling
- average grip
- poor drag race launching
here are some clips from tirerack:

These tires are basically terrible except under ideal conditions (warm, dry). Particularly horrible in wet weather. 7500 miles and showing considerable treadwear.

The noisiest tire i've ever own, they should be recalled!!!! They are embarrasing to ride on, I associate this noise level with the noise the HUMMER makes coming down the road... Can't wait to get rid of them!!!
