I STILL HAVE A THERMOSTAT PROBLEM!!!!
I just put ANOTHER brand new Honda thermostat in my Prelude and the lower hose is still ice cold after a half hour of driving!! My temp needle still climbs about 3/4 of the way up! I don't understand this. My only guess now is that my water pump is not spinning whatsoever. But even then, you would think the thermos wouild open enough to let som coolant trickle through and heat up that lower hose.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Here's my other thread about this problem. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1084557

Is the upper hose hot? That is the one that returns water to the radiator from the thermostat. When you put the hose in the top of the radiator, did it come out through the bottom port? Maybe your radiator is blocked?
ya know....I honestly don't know if it came out the bottom hose. I was just watching for it to come out of the drain ****. I'll have to drain the coolant again tomorrow and check that.
