Default Flaking clear coat

I have a 95 DX. It's black and the clear coat is flaking severely. I can't repaint my entire car right now because I have a few dents and things that need fixed (rear quarter panel, bah).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it look a little better without repainting everything?

Thanks. I appreciate that. Although, I have no idea how that's supposed to help my situation.

if your paint is in decent shape you could have it recleared but you have to take alot of stuff off or it will just flake again .. best advice is to either live with it or learn bodywork and painting and try it yourself .. good luck

You understand i'm loking for a temp fix. Would clearcoat in a can hold up for a little while and give it a gloss like the rest of the paint?

no, you're pretty much screwed until you decide to have it reclear coated or repainted.
