Default Tial and Full-Race products

I just want to thank these two companies. When assembling my turbo setup I used the muckman wastegate line kit and when we put the fitting in the Tial 40mm wastegate the fitting cut a hole in the wastegate diaphram. This was on a brand new wastegate and I called full-race then Tial and they have decided to warrantee the diaphram and are shipping it out to me 2 day air today. I can't say enough good things about these two companies.
It was installation error and they have both corrected it with no problems. The only wastegate or blowoff valve I'll ever buy again will be tial, in this industry customer service is king of all. They get a from me. Larry

That's good to hear. Most people just bitch about bad service, but you hardly hear about the great service you've received.

I have dealt with both companys on a personal basis and I must say Full-Race give great customer service and technical help, and Tial with it being such a big company really makes you feel good when you need something they really come through. All I needed where a couple nuts and bolts for my Tial Bov and they came through with something so small

I agree most with B18C4-T... I have been dealing with Geoff and Todd at Full-Race for about 4-5 months now working out things to order my Top mount manifold, Tial 44mm waste gate, Traction Bars, 3'' tappered to 4" down pipe and a T3/T67 HO turbo. Everyone at Full-Race is very nice and I can say they have the best constomer service and great products!!!!! They will get my money agian for projects I will be working on.

If you screw the muckman kit in the wastegate the fitting hits the diaphram and rips it. We're going to put a spacer on the fitting so that it limits the amount that it screws into the wastegate. My new diaphram should be here tomorrow or Tues. then I can finally finish this 18 month build. Larry

aww ****... the diaphram. What bad is this to the WG?

* i actually talked to stans 6+ months back, and actually found out the screw was long , and it had prevented me from holding boost * and boost leaked... which had informed him about this....

But, about the diaphram.. What is this? ( yes, im not to techinical with this) I think ive torn mine, when this happen. (orange rubbery object in there?) Hope this isnt a bad thing? ( is this why all this time my MBC wont boost any further then the tial wg? )

its in march, i think march 14th or so cant remember off the top of my head. should be a good race tho!

it sounds like your torn diaphragm is really the issue there. The diaphragm is really what keeps the pressure differential in the wastegate, and what controls the valve. If its torn there is no valve control, and no pressure differential, just one uniform pressure, which is basically the same as having jsut the wastegate spring and no boost control at all

Yeah, a hole in the diaphram will definitely cause boost creep problems. I'm planning on boosting 28lbs if I keep hondata, if I can go Neptune it'll probably be around 35lbs. With the boost that high I can't risk anything. Larry

I called Tial and they took care of it. I had to go to their website and then look up the number in the yellow pages online. Larry
