88 crx with b16 odb1 throwin code 1 and 6 does not start.
number one code comes in bright as hell number 6 is really really dim. When I try to crank the car over it just makes a clicking sound comming from the drivers corner of the dash. It sounds like the main relay. any help welcomed.
9-10VDC at the battery will make this happen.

What's your battery voltage? Have you tried jumper cables?

Take the black box off the main relay and pinch the sides and hold it there it should click twice and then crank it over... and u should get a odb2 ecu for that swap

the ecu should be obd-1 to match the cars distributor and oxygen sensor.
remove the main relay. looking at the pins, bottom row from RIGHT to LEFT is 1,3,5,7. top row, same direction is 2,4,6,8. set up just like ecu pins.
connect:
#4 to battery voltage
#8 to batt ground.
check:
continuity from #5-->#7
no = replace
yes =continue
connect:
#5 ---> batt 12v
#2 ---> batt negative
check continuity from #1 --> #3
no= replace
yes= continue
#3 batt pos
#8 batt neg
check continuity #5-->#7
no=replace
yes = relay still good, if fuel pump doesnt work time to buy a helms and go on to the next section of testing. you cant always count on people looking stuff up for you.

trust me I have full access to all data pro. If you dont know what that is its a complete online resource that companys pay for to get shop manuals for all cars online. I am picking up a new relay tonight to find out the problem and see if that fixes it. I already checked to see if the plug was good and it is and the relay seems fine but Im going to change it out and see if its that. It seems as if it my be a bad ground Im going to also check them and try and find out.
