1994 LS Auto Trans Hesistates to shift
i test drove a car i might buy or trade my civic for
its a 1994 ls with 110,000 miles on it
stock motor
i drove it and as it would reach the end of a gear it would seemingly stay in that gear for "THAT" much longer. Like if you're going 50 into 3rd gear. where normally the shift from second to third takes 1/10th of a second..it seemingly taks 2/10th of a second. (just using numbers..not meant to be accurate) And then shift. The guy said the torque converter would grab 3rd and 4th at the same time...idk what he meant by this or what he's talking about. it kinda seemed/sounded/felt like what it feels like shifting on a stick. you go, release gas/push in clutch/give gas. i'm sorry if this sounds confusing. its kind of difficult to explain.
i guess i'm just wondering if this is a big problem..providing you understand my explanation.

Yeah mine did that a little bit when I first got it, years ago...... now at 130,000+ miles it is getting pretty bad... but I am almost sure that has something to do with the supercharger and added torque and horse power...
I think that the automatic transmission in the integra's are just not meant to be a sporty transmission. Although the fact that it still works at all with 25,000+ miles with the supercharger just shows that mine is a lot stronger than I thought.
but to try and answer the original question. I think it's a common trait with the auto teg's with that much mileage on them. Should last a while longer if mine did.
