FS: Sport FWD race motor, Drive Shaft Shop DSS stage 6 axles
Race motor that I was going to use for SportFWD, but decided that with school coming up, I was never going to be able to finish it. Here's what it has on it, listed next to each part is what the part would retail for:
B18C5 block w/ golded eagle sleeves w/ 84mm bore GE block sleeveing, $1000
JE 9:1 forged pistons $550
Eagle rods $300
brand new ACL rod/main berings, thrust washers $110
Evolution sfi approved pulled (for running 11.50 or quicker) $200
port/polised B18C1 head dual valve springs, Skunk2 Titanium retainers mild port work, $300; springs & retainers $275
Golden eagle sandwich turbo feed kit $150
Golden eagle sheet metal polished intake manifold $750
ARP Head studs $115
2001 GS-R Transmission
ACT 6 puck clutch $450
GS-R motor would normally cost $3000 stock
The motor has never been started!! Everything adds up to $7350, Asking <FONT COLOR="red">$4500</FONT>



Driveshaft shop Stage 5 axles, good for up to 600whp. These axles were made before DSS did hub and intermediate shaft packages for levels 3-6. Brand new, they're $1600, asking <FONT COLOR="red">$900.</FONT>

bump-- selling all this to do a less expensive K20A2 in my hatchback. Got in this far, and then crunched some numbers-- found out I still need $800 for a turbo, $1500 for a clutch, $1600 for ECU, $500 for intercooler $500 for aluminum bends, $200 worth of Argon for TIG welding it all, $1350 for a manifold, etc etc-- just can't do it. I start school again on Jan 10, and I'm not coming up with the money by then
one question. whay is the block and water tube missing the fittings for the factory oil cooler? Is that because of the sleeves?

No-- the water pipe, I believe is off a type R, but the oil cooler is off of GS-R-- I was going to just leave the oil cooler disconnected on the coolant side. Kept the Type R water pipe becuase I would have just welded the other ports up anyway.

ARP headstuds aren't 250. they're 115 shipped.

Sorry, was trying to remember all of them off the top of my head. Regardless, it's a good deal. Thanks for pointing that out.
