Default Distributor King!

After suffering problems with my dizzy (noisy, throwing CEL, Honda chewed up the rotor screw) I decided to replace and thanks to all the positive posts from HT I
purchased one from Distributor King

I am in the UK and after emailing them I placed the order on the Tuesday PM and received on Thursday AM, amazing. Any of you out there need a dizzy - that company is superb and there products are amazing value for money, I also go 10% discount for mentioning HT :-)

However I do have one query regarding the part which hopefully some other Distributor King buyers may know. After looking under the cap, the rotor arm appears not to have a screw holding it in, is this something anyone else has noticed? - If so how do you remove the rotor arm? Just pull? I am only asking as when it comes to replacement does the OEM arm and cap fit?

It pulls right out and I believe there is a screw hole underneath so you can use an OEM one as well. I just bought a new dizzy as well from them

Fantastic - The last thing I wanted to do when I got it was mess it up by trying to pull it off and have to send it all the way back UK - Canada.

Thats great news. Another for Distributor King ;-)

**cough, cough** mention ITRCA.com instead. I tried to tell everyone about this great company long before they were sponsoring HT...

http://www.itrca.com/sponsors/...x.php

- use their cap/rotor
- use OEM cap/rotor...your choice!

Pat rocks. (good support after the sale too - in case there is a problem)

i had that exact same problem with a distrib i ordered through them. the rotor is push on style, with no bolt hole. i COULD NOT use the oem rotor. i have been meaning to call them, but i have not gotten to it. they should be contacted to find out which rotor they used for their distributor. i know later model crv/accord used the push on style, but i cannot confirm they will work in that distrib. anyone else?

I'm using an OEM rotor on mine right now. When you pull off the old one, there is a screw hole for the OEM version. Honestly - I like their rotor better **goes off to order a couple more**

are their rotors on par with oem quality? because i hate anything aftermarket on a honda's ignition system. i've seen too many cars with problems because they got a tune-up kit from napa or pep boys.

Jeff aka BudMan dont worry I mentioned ITRCA too as well as your name as you kept cropping up in the searches ;-)

Rodney are you saying there was no screw hole underneath the push on rotor arm?

I may just drop them a mail today just to clear it up.

I've got some additional goodies on the way in the next week or so. I'll take a picture of their rotor button & post it.
