whats a code 17 on a obd-1 ls ecu

 

Vehicle Speed sensor circuit low input.

Probable Cause - vehicle speed sensor-----vehicle speed sensor circuit----ECM

that bastard is really easy to unclip and switch out...so if you have one, pull yours put it in his tranny and see if it still throws the code....is his odometer and speedo still working?
