what size coupler am i suppose to get to fit onto the intake manifold for my short ram?? the one that went to my civic engine was too small...

 

What size is the intake piping?

I measured a GS-R throttle body and ITR throttle body outer barrel diameters.

GS-R = 2.635"
ITR = 2.793"

The only thing I don't remember is if the GS-R TB's have the same body size as B16 and LS throttle bodies.

I find that a 2.75" to <u>whatever-sized</u> transition coupler fits the best on both the GS-R and ITR throttle bodies.

 

i have a 2.5 intake piping, but i need the size of the throttle body for the LS ...

 

ls throttle body is 58mm i believe

 

We're talking about outside body diameter, not inner diameter going into the intake manifold.

 

you can use a 2.5" coupler and it will go over the tbody.

i tried reversing my coupler...will it be ok w/ that on and a clamp to tighten??

 

Just run out there with a tape measure.
