Default I threw a cel :(

I new to the Prelude game and I want to know how to figure out the cel problem. I have a 92 si h23a. I though since it was obd1 that the cel would flash a series of times so I could figure out the problem that way but there were definitley no flashes! Could you guys please give a rookie some help?

Thanks guys

You have to jump the service connector behind the center console to get it to blink.

o, well i dont really know how to do that kinda stuff. But i just said screw it so i just took it down to a shop and paid a damn 60 buck for them to look at it and they just said i was my intake sensor connector, i geuss the wires fell out of it and the connector is like 10 buck to get. so all that mess and the part cost less then the dang diagnostic. well i geuss you live and learn. thaks for you guys help though.

where is it behind the console? is it easy to find? because a friend of mine has a 92 prelude and i kinda had the same question as Prelude-Tech. he has a CEL and i told him i would check it for him but i am used to civics. is it the same blink codes as any other OBD1 honda?

Right behind the radio...the blue 2-holed connector. Codes are very similar to other Hondas, but I wouldn't say 100% the same.

You might be able to find it if you dig around back there. Try going in from the sides where the center console ends...

O YA, just to let every body knowm, you can buy an OBD 1 diagnostic tester from shucks for about 30 buck then pay 60 to get it checked out. so be smart not a dumbass like me.
