Default pretty much done with my motor...

just about to start it up tomorrow...i got pretty much everything bolted up, wired up, whatever...it's getting late so i'm just gonna double check everything tomorrow before i start it up...but here goes the mod list.

b18c1 block, 81.5mm wiseco 11.8:1 pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, balanced/micropolished crank, b16 jg pro series head, all jg internals in the head, high comp valves, crower 402 cams, STR cam gears, b16 LSD tranny, ITR IM, stock header for now, of course all new gaskets and seals...some misc. stuff like aem fuel rail, FPR, and that kinda stuff...oh and i cant forget the hondata s200 with p28...

well i'm gonna start it up tomorrow, and hopefully get enough money to go tune it next week...hoping to hit somewhere near 200whp...at least.

okay...i started up the car, had a little oil leak from the filter, but just had to tighten it a little more...something is wrong with the started also, kinda need to get it fixed...and also there's alot of ticking going on in the motor...my thought would be the valves...i'm running crower 402's with stainless steel valves(standard size), JG springs and retainers...just wondering what my valve lash would be...mine are set at stock specs, which i think are .007in and .008ex...not sure it that's right or not, but someone help me...thanks.

Crower should specify what they want the valve lash to be... I'm running a set of webcams. They recommend .009-.010 , They were set to a tight .009 on int/exh... Noisy but normal.

Are your stock LMAs good? I'm running prelude LMAs in my car - working great.

i'm running the second gen b16 lma's...but there is a problem with my car right now...the car smokes(white)...there is a little oil on spark plug #2, and it has a black tip...did a compression test and it has 190 through all 4 cylinders(only about 1-2 miles on the motor)...so there is a slim chance of it being the piston rings or valve seals...so as of right now, we kinda hit a wall and just trying to gather info on what to do...the head is a built jg pro series head, but i bought it used and didnt replace the internals on the head, so that can be a problem...but i'm thinking of just pulling the head off and getting all new seals, guides, etc., but just waiting to see what kinda info i get on this.
