how to lower 02 f4i
i know how to do the back but what about the front ??? i know the straps and springs but some one said somthing about a clamp or somthing ??? if any one could please help me w/ this where to find them at and also pics of bikes lowered w/ straps ???? any thing would help

you can do something with the forks like screw down or something of that nature. I dont know the correct term. or take the spring out of the fork and cut it
Yes, if you look at your forks by the clip on, you will see a bolt that tighens the triple tree clamp to the fork tubes. There is a pair near the clip ons, and then there are the ones right above the front fender. do one side at at time and do it slowly until you reach desired height.
I lowered mine 1.5 inches, the same as the rear. You will have to reset your suspension though b/c it will throw your geometry off.
Plus, your fender will now hit the upper fairing.

How did dyou reset yours..i believe i lowered mine 1in..let me know how you reset it or whatnot

My avatar has a lowered f4i but its small.
I reset my suspension, rather tuned it to be a little more stiff than stock b/c it bottoms out in the front on the fender. Plus, you'll notice that you'll go into the corners a little hotter if you do tune your suspension.
