Insurance will likely total it. So sad that our cars can be sentenced to death in such an untimely way.

People on this site would probably recommend buying it back and parting it out on here. There is a way to be profitable after an accident

Yeah ..they'll definately total a 90 4spd civic with 300,000 miles on it..
They'll probably give alot less money for it then you expect..

i almost just wanna tell the lady that hit me that she just made my christmas the worst ever, if they total my car i will only get the book value minus what it would cost me to buy it back and the n parting it out i still wont make enogh money on it to buy another one... I hate old ladies who drive buicks, she didnt even get a ticket or a scratch on her car.
oh yeah its got a new si tranny in it, $1200, now worthless to me...

i can buy my car back from the insurance company if they total it. then it would have a salvage title and then i could A) fix it out of my own pocket and have a repaired salvage title or, B) part it out. otherwise its the insurance companies' car when they total it.
one pic is on here and its not to good:

Take the **** out that you need, and then part the rest. That sucks that she didn't get a ticket. I am so sorry that your xmas is ruined. I know how it feels to be in a car accident; it sucks completely. By far the worst feeling in the world, at least it was to me. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by eda6 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Buy your own car back?
