ya they were way off, if you have a si all you have to do is drop it in no mods, if you have a dx then you need to switch to mpfi

Would you go for a dohc zc or a sohc vtec? Whats faster in your opinion?

IMO the DOHC ZC has better throttle response, and seems (read: butt dyno) to be faster than a D15B VTEC.

DOHC has more HP, 15 I think. I would personally go for that one. Great thing if you're low on doughflow is you can use existing d-series tranny. ZC tranny has good gearing and equal length axles though. All up to what you want to do.

I'm lost. My understanding was that the DOHC ZC that came from the EF civic SI over in Japan bolted into our ED chassis.

For all I knew he could have meant a browntop dohc zc and a 79 civic, which would obviously make a huge difference. Lack of specificity will sometimes own joo, mang. IMHO I would have a slight preference for the sohc vtec regardless of whether it was JDM or USDM, but that's just me.
