Default 5th Gen DIY...Connecting front turn signals to parking lights???

anyone know the correct way to connect my front turn signals so that they will turn on with my parking lights??? Tried it and the only thing wrong was the turn signal in my gauge cluster stayed on. Any directions would be helpful!

Of course, you have to bypass the light in the dash when you are splicing it in...

It would help me if you stated what are you trying to accomplish?

Why do you want to do this? From the title I thought you wanted the bumper lights to act as turning signals as well..now that would be kool

The bumper lights are turn signals...

He wants the bumper lights to stay on at all times and blink when the turn signal is turned on (??) Never heard of this, but I've seen the corner lights act as turn signals.

The corner lights stay on regardless as well as acting like turn signals. The bumber lights are also turn signals.

I think he meant have the corner lights be turn signals. Wouldnt I just be able to splice into the turn signal wires on each side and run them up and solder them to the plug for the corner lights? Come to think of it maybe I should try to do this and have 1 bulb on all the time and the other a turn signal. LOL would be cool but doubt I will do it. I think what the poster wants is for his turn signals to stay lit up all the time and I assume still blink when he puts his turn signals on. I have seen some that stay lit up all the time.

Yeah, well like I said the corner one's already do that. So I guess he wants the bumper lights to do the same.

this is how I have mine you have to splice the corner lights to connect to the bumper lights and dont even touch the bumper light wires just tape them up and hide them away thats the way you get them to stay on

you need double contact bulbs for that (similar to your tail lamp bulb) so its always on on parklight (5w) and it glows brighter with the turn signals (21w)

Wierd, you think it would be illegal to have orange lights on all the time.

It would be here and it would have to be fixed or it would not be allowed on the road, plus a nice fine.

Just like there can't be white lights on all the time on the back of the car except when you're reversing.

Ah well -

ok, i know how to do it because I have it done on my car. If you want the corners to be turn signals then you have to run a wire from the ground wire from the bumper turn signals to the positive wire in the corners. That way the bumper lights stay off and corners stay on durig normal driving and when using turn signals both the bumper lights and corner lights are blinking.. This will not affect the dash light.

if you want the bumper lights to blink and stay on, you would need two relays.. you can get them at radioshack.. for i think $5 each. I took some notes for this, but I'm not home, i'll keep you guys updated.. very easy and JDM yo!! haha

Illegal to have yellow lights? Do the words Lexus come to mind? Almost all of them have HID's with bright yellow fogs.
