Default H22 and H23 Oil pan

are they interchangeable?...my H22 oil pan has a hole in it

Yup, it's a silicone sealant.

RTV Ultra Grey is the same stuff, though, and it's available at almost all automotive stores.

Actually, yes and no. 92-96 H23 and 92-96 H22 oil pans are interchangeable. 97-01 have different oil pans.

Aahhhh yes, almost forgot about that! IIRC, the later pans don't use a gasket; they just use the silicone sealant.
