whats the deal with the repliacted mugen knock off valve cover? in my opinion i do not see a differnce bewteen them...can u guyz no?

 

not to sure, but i think its the size of the lettering...

 

the real one the the left side of the N is lined up under one of the valve cover bolts and on the fake ones the N isn't

and the answer is check the spelling and on a real mugen valve cover the timing belt over is smooth and on fakes it has two little bumps you'll notice it if you see a pic

the deal is that one is a replica and can be bought for 99 bucks vs the real deal for 900 bucks and yes you can tell the difference.

fake or maybe its the oppsit ways where the fake have smooth ends and the real ones have the bumps none the less you can see a difference

and this valve cover has a smooth ending

 

the placement of the N is diffrent on the fake. thats how i always spot them at car shows if they are fake or not.

 

There is a small difference in the lettering on the cover. The underside of the covers look different as well. There is a lot of fake Mugen stuff out there... Mugen does not copyright their stuff so it is not illegal to copy it as long as there are some differeces in the parts... no matter how small.
