Default I recieved a 2000 civic si front end for free and I want to convert my EG. Any advice?

I just got a civic si front end for free, everything but the rad. support and I was wondering if it could be grafted onto my EG hatch. It all seems to measure up but I figured I'd ask you guys before I got in too deep.

I will sell the front end! If you want it post your offer and Ill get back to you.
I also have a D16Z6 w/ 40,000 miles on it and the stock 5-speed tranny for sale. It is a full engine with the wiring harness. I'm asking 350.

The lights/front end is too big for the car, looks wise.

the EK front doesn't match the lines of the EG body style. i agree with everyone else...sell it and use that money for EG mods!

I'd sell it to someone with an EK, and get a decent turbo with the money. Or a cam/set of cams.

I would be intrested in the front end if you sell it. But I looked at that other post and I like the rears of the older hatches and the fronts of the 96-00 either ones.

If this car didnt have a body kit and **** it would be really nice I think.

I am willing to sell, send me your offer. I have the hood, fenders, passenger side light and an aftermarket bumper all in excellent condition.

Hey Cappa how did you get your fender lines to match up? The SI has a body line near the top and your fenders look more like those from an EG. Also did you need the SI rad. support or did you just modify the EG?

That EBP hatch is the first front end conversion I've seen (this particular conversion anyway) that actually appears proportionate. I feel the ones that seem to always be in autotrader (near me anyway) and that I see on the streets, are hideous. Probably because I'm such an OEM fan and noone near me has a clue on good body work. Maybe some EK sideskirts would help.

I must admit, I'd love to see a del Sol with CTR headlights (99-00) and 99-00 coupe outside tail lights. Anyone ever seen one?

heres a decent write up http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/278372/7
doesnt look too bad if you keep the oem look and stay away from body kits.

there is only one good looking front of a 5th gen civic ever. its the sunset orange civic off of importtuner.com with the 2.2 CL headlights in it. very good looking. the EG's headlights suck (in shape, and with the wavy shitness) and the EK actually looks no better.

my opinion it looks like ***. the lights in the front are too big. doesnt seem right. reason that blue one looks alright is because of the bodykit. i would keep the eg front
