Need opinions on ls vtec fully built or ls fully built and turbo
im sure there are many posts and someone is going to be a smart a** and tell me to look at the forums but if you could please put your input for me i would really appreciate it. thanks for all your advice. my options are as follows i have a fully built ls motor and i have a fully built gsr head i can either keep it all LS and turbo and sell my gsr hear or go lsvtec. what u guys think just need input i dont want anyone to make decisions for me(made this remark cuz alot of haters on this site like to think that when someone asks for an opinion they cant make up there own mind).
ls/vtec turbo is a great streetable combo. an all motor ls/vtec with similar (250-300hp) would not be street friendly.
so what are some suggestions for these 2 setups for reliability and power also what type of compression should be used for ls/vtec with darton solid deck sleeves
ls/vtec turbo with @9:1 compression would be very streetable with mild boost and good tuning. Tuning is a must with any ls/vtec esp. turbo.
well i have decided to go LS/vtec turbo what are your opinions in what to do first and what type of hybrid turbo setup i should go with

are you going to piece together a turbo stet-up or go with something something like drag or greddy kit?
i think i wanna piece together a kit what do u think? what parts are kinda inexpensive but also good.
in-expensive and good usually are not used together. you get what you pay for. check used forced induction classifieds sometimes you can come across a kit already assembled for 1500-2000 needing minimal work like a turbo rebuild. Just remember tuning is a must
Cheap, Fast, Reliable.... pick 2 because the other is what your car wont be....
anyway... LS-t
hands down boost owns n/a
