Default Question about the T1R Cat-back

Will it bolt up to the stock cat ? I don't have an aftermarket header and cat yet, but i plan to in the future. I really don't want to have to wait to put it on if i don't have to.

Thanks

If you get the individual peices, yes.

If you get the complete catback, no.

Why not the complete cat-back, whats the difference from getting the individual peices?

The individual peices are 62.5mm OD, with bottlenecks and standard flanges so that they can be mated to other aftermarket axlebacks/midpipes, and stock peices.

The complete catback is 65mm OD, with NO bottlenecks, and can only be used with 2.5" cats, and *maybe* other 2.5" exhausts on the market, although I have not heard of anyone trying that.

Individual Peices:

Complete Catback:

Both T1R systems (bolt on and full system) will fit with factory cat.

We've tried fitting the bolt on muffler with system b-pipe, those will fit together.
Havent tried fitting Spoon N1 with system b-pipe yet though, IMO it should work as well, have to try it someday I guess!

Thanks,
Justin @ AJR

I think we all got the same stuff, around the same time. We were all part of the same shipment.

Bottleneck or not, the piece seems like very top quality, and I look forward to installing it ASAP.

Don't forget to get a 2.5" collector gasket as well. Dave has a nice way to remove that bottleneck up his sleeve. He told me, but I cant remember. Im sure he'd like to share.

Yeah EkNineSpooner, but I have two O2 sensors. One on the header like you said and one on the cat. I thought all ITRs come with two O2 sensors maybe I'm wrong but that's what I have.

I'll post some pics of my ITR's header and cat for further reference when I get a chance.
