BIG Vibrations when Accelerating.
Greetings,
I've been driving around on my JDM H22A for 3months now (about 2000miles) and everything is great, except when I'm accelerating I'm getting a big vibration ... it almost feels to me like it could be the balancer belt, when I'm accelerating up until maybe 4000rpm its really bad, you can really feel it in the car the steering wheel pedals .... so when I'm in neutral to see if it still "shimmys" I accelerate and I can feel the engine vibrating. I'm thinking the balancer belt ... but I'm open to hear what everybody else has to say on this situation :: opinions?
I swapped in JDM H22A, timing belt, balancer belt, from my H23 I kept the crank pulley and the Altenator, AC and Power steering from the H23 as well.
I put in Exedy stage1 organic racing clutch, OEM flywheel, reuse H23 tranny, & new axles.
So, I'm wantin to remove the balancer belt anyways, whats the easiset way now its in the car? (I'll cut it, I dont care.. )
and what else might this be if not the balancer belt?

If you want to cut the balancer belt, just remove the crank pulley and the lower timing cover and you'll have access to the belt.

Just remove the timing belt covers and cut the belt. Easy as pie.
But it does sound like a mount. Push on the motor, like previously mentioned. Also, check the oil-filled mount for leakage; it's the right-side mount w/ the round cap on top.

I replaced the front mount, and put in ES inserts, I have ES for the rear but didnt put it in .. guess I"ll be gettin a flashlight and checking / feeling for rips .. err .. gonna be tough to see but I'll def. check it out.
Thx guys.
