Default d16z6 Intake Manifold obd0 and tb question ??

Hey I did a search and only found one slightly usefull topic.

My question is how hard is it to use the d16z6 manifold on an obd0 setup? Do I swap all of the sensors from the a6 mani to the z6 one and then connect the same wires?

Also I need to get a new tb and am wondering what is my best bet. I heard that the b16 tb bolts on which other ones will work?

Thanks for any help!

wont be very hard. you are gonna need a TB mounted MAP sensor however, and jus extend the connector wires from the firewall to the TB. as for the purge evap, extend the vacuum line from i think the TB to behind the IM near the master cylinder. everything else plugs up, one more connector may need to be extended.

then of course you wanna swap your obd0 injectors over.

umm i believe all b-series TB's work...someone correct me if im wrong.

This is what I figured to be true, if anyone else can support this theory I would apreciate it before I go out and get a b16a tb.

i think i used the nipple that originally was used for the barometric pressure sensor on the manifold, since its not used on obd0 cars
