spun a bearing

how the heck you know : when a motor spun a bearing ? cause I am going to buy a used block ,.and how can you tell it works fine?

If it turns over, chances are you don't have a spun bearing

If you turn it over, you might be able to "hear" the bearing griding if it has just spun, however there really is no 100% way to be sure without taking the oil pan off and the rod caps and checking yourself.

Is this really an all motor forum question?

when you have the crank out and everything what is the main thing you should look for to see if it's spun or not?

how much r u buyin the block for because i have 1 for sale that does not have anything wrong with it i took outta my 99 si , it has 63k on it let me know
