Default SS autochrome manifold turbo kit.. ANy good?????

My boy want to know if this ss autochrome deal is pretty good for his d series. i heard the manifold are junk but then i heard they changed up the manifold and it wont crack. Now for 700 dollars he is getting t3/t4 turbo , manifold , bov , down pipe, wastegate and and 1 ic piping. He wantt o know if this kit is realiable. A friend of his has this setup in an ef with stock ls pushing 9 psi running 12.5 quater with slicks. Now this damn pretty good. But we wanna know more info before him buying this kit. I need ur comments and opinions on this kit...??????

Well for 700$ buck you could have a better turbo manifold ( or even a civic hf, vx or std manifold with an adaptor) a good condition t3 with all oil line, an intercooler with all charge pipe (with a bov welded) and a good fuel management. IMO dont buy this kit

even if they brace it... for that price (700$ plus shipping i assume) you dont have any fuel management, no intercooler and you are missing most of the charge pipe...

it is still a fair deal indeed but i do prefer to piece up a kit myself

Uberdata

well if you really want to go with this kit... get him a fuel pump, boost gauge, air fuel gauge and some dsm 450cc injector and he should be fine
