Opinions on swap
Welll I have a d16z6 and matching tranny and a 87 crx si with a bad motor. What I'm considering doing is sitting the z6 in there and doing what ever I have to do to make the mounts work even if it requires me to have new ones fabricated. Then for the ecu I
ve just about decided I'm going to remove the rest ov the wiring harness from the firewall to the computer and put it in the crx and hook up the p28 that originally came with that motor. My question is this a good idea? I read about how the other guy on here did this and he used a teg tranny and stuff or at least a mount from one(cant remember which). So I'm thinking the easyiest way to so this is to take the entire engine and its wiring harness along with the rest of the harness between it and the ecu and putting it into the crx and ditching anything to do with the stock motor in the crx. Need lots on imput on this one and try not to flame me just looking for advice before I dive into this cause maybe there is an angle to it I'm not seeing.
