Quick HELP!!!! My axle poped out when doing my suspension!!!!
ok so I was doing the front driver side spring and when I took it out the axle boot that connect to the tranny is locked in place. How in gods name do I fix this? Do I have to completly take out my axle to do this. My car is stuck sitting in my garage so please help me.
Try to get it back in there. Same thing happend to me and my friend when were lowering his integra. We working on it for hours and hours just wouldn't go in so we finally just towed it to a shop they fixed it for like 180 dollars.
Search. This problem is all over the net because it happens to everyone it seems.
I can't exactly remember, but I think you need to put the car in gear and rotate the rotor back and forth until the axle slides back in. Been awhile since I've had to do this.

alright well I did it the hard way and messy way. I just took the CV boot off and realigned the knuckles and slide them back into place. then regreased it and tied the boot back down. God doing the springs on an RSX was so much harder then any civic or integra I have done. **** my tranny swaps were easier then this. Oh well I got the two fronts done hopefully the rears will be smooth sailing. THanks guys.
You don't really have to worry about the rears. It would have been a lot easier if you held up the axles so they wouldn't have fallen. I've learned from this so when I redo my suspension it won't take me as long.

Happened to me a couple of times during my nightmarish suspension experience. I had to do my suspension 3 times. I pretty much just rotated the axle back and forth with the rotor until it slid in.
yeah I just got the rears done today and they maybe took me 1 hour for both of them. So it was a total of about 8-9 hours for the two fronts including the driving back and forth to get parts to clamp the CV joint boots together. In the long run it was well worth it. My car looks sweet and handels a lot better.
