Default Door wiring loom question

I'm trying to add wires through the loom section that goes between the body door frame and the edge of the door for power windows and door locks. I don't want them loose as most shops would do!!!

The loom disconnects at the leading edge of the door and I can pull out all of the stuff inside the door to modify it.

The problem is adding the wires to the section that comes out of the body (at the door jamb).

What I'd like to know is if this loom section is seperate from the rest of the interior loom and can be removed, pulling it out through the hole.

Or do I have to feed it into the interior of the car, modify it, and then feed it back out through the hole.

We are talking about an 89 civic hatchback here.

A coat hanger wire is your new friend...seriously...that's how I pulled the wires for my power doorlocks through. Just have to be patient and careful, then you don't have to remove anything. Just pull the wires through the existing loom. There's enough space.

Man, I just don't see how it would be possible to lace a piece of welding rod through it without removing the section beforehand.

Please keep in mind that I'm talking about an 89 hatchback. I know it's possible (and have done it) on other cars.

i took the wiring out of the doors. then the additional wires through the interior. then i covered it in heat shrink. luckily i only need to add a couple of wires, cause there wasnt much room going thru the plastic clip on the door. having the fenders off, helped a lot.

My god, I was afraid that somebody would say to take off the fenders. That's pretty much the only way that I can see it being done.

yeah, i did it the same time i changed my fenders out. you might be able to do it by just taking off the fender lining.
