I need an exhaust system that is very quiet, but has perfomance. I need to be lead in the right direction because i was pulled over and must report to the dmv. Please let me know, performance but quiet.

try a thermal R&D they are quiet enough not to get noticed. But when you get on it it is a nice low tone. Not like a lawnmower or weedwacker sound like most. if you paint the rear section black and leave the tip polished all it will look like is that you have a exhaust tip installed- real low key. sometimes its not the loudness they just give you problems because it doesnt look stock-if it looks aftermarket, paint it black and no one will know

 

I had a thermal on my car and it was pretty loud. Not sure what version but it was 2.25.

 

i have a dc sports and its really quiet, and i have it running with a b18c and a testpipe

 

Setup a friend of mine ran was 2" pipe with a 2000 civic SI muffler. It would have better flow than stock, but I don't know if it would do much for performance.
