question about main & rod bearings building motor?

Default question about main & rod bearings building motor?

I will be building my motor soon and i had a question about the rod bearings should buy upgraded ones or jsut stock honda one im not sure what to get. I will be getting 9:1 pistons egale rods and i need to know about the bearings.

Theres no such thing as upgraded bearings. Many run OEM or ACL. Ive never heard bad things about either. Id say the clearance is more important than the brand.

supposedly ACL's are all made by the same manufacturer as honda's. thats what i read somewhere. who knows, but the quality is supposed to be the same.
