The seals in the turbo might be bad.. Also your valve seals might be worn out but I would guess its the turbo seals since it didnt do it before the turbo.. Remove one of your charge pipes and see if there is oil in there..
it did it when the turbo was brand new. the turbo had 0 miles on it when we put the kit on and it did this. so my guess is it isnt the turbo seals. and the valve seals wouldnt it smoke before we even put the turbo on? it was like this. ls swap no turbo just stock b18b. no smoke ran perfect. 3 weeks later. put the turbo kit on. 1st drive we take on it. it smokes. smokes a lot, runs perfect still. if the return fitting in the pan is too low it wont catch it right? there is no kinks in the return.

If the return is too low and the oil level is higher than the return, then its harder for the oil to go into the pan, when the car has higher oil pressure (when normal driving) the oil will force its way back into the pan, at idle, there isn't enough pressure to do so, so it smokes through the turbo.

I think that's the case with my turbo, because my return sucks. . .

if it smoked right away like before you even beat on the car at all with the turbo then i bet it is your return line. Similar thing happened to my friend's car...the moment he started the car up with his brand new turbo smoke started coming from the turbo.

My turbo was "rebuilt" and it smoked.

If you have an oil line restrictor and an oil return at least as good as this

(This oil return does not smoke)
Assuming your motor is good, it is your turbo seals.
