ok so i did alil reading some pages say regarding the code 9, that the problem may lye in the dizzy somewhere or even fuel filter may have something to do with
i have a feeling its not one of these its gonna be something bad isnt it? ie cylinder rebuild or something...

My car just starting studdering to when I reach 2-3k. Feels like I hit a rev limiter or something. But it does it every once in a while. I would also like to know what it is to.
First, clear the ECU once.
That sensor is a little gear on the inside of your distributor.
You cannot buy it seperately from the distributor. Its wire runs to the igniter.
The igniter sometimes cost the same as the whole dizzy, or pretty close to it.
If someone you know has a z6, try switching it.
Otherwise you may need a new dizzy.

ok so thats why iot stutters, code 9, and check engine light?....good i thought it might be something internal in the motor, i did not want to tear apart my motor...anyone else with any hints?

Unless you know how to disassemble a distributor, just try to find another working one. To take the distributor apart you will also need a tamper resistant torx bit. Honestly, you are better off just finding another distributor.
i took the cap off....and "what i think" was the rotor was grinding into the cap it self but there is no wiggle to it its not loose..i cleaned it up...sanding it down...cleaned the plugs....and now the bog is kinda gone(im changing the fule filter tomorrow)...the check engine light is gone....but im still getting the code 9...so im not sure what to say right now...though...when it cold...like really cold start ups (canada winter) it rev up to 3k then down to about 1100 when it warms.....is there any way i can correct this? any tips?
Well you should reset your ecu one more time and since you have a single cam its definately a dizzy problem, the zc's have cam angle sensors outside the dizzy. So my best suggestion would be get another dizzy and check your timing.
awesome thanks guys for allthe tips ill do some more trouble shooting tomorrow, ...now for another problem that bugs the hell outta me....when i start the car in the cold mornings (canadian winters) it idle way high at around 3k then when it warms up alil bit it goes down to around 1200....any tips on how i can fix the 3k idle?...i dont like it that high and cold...its a d16z6 in a 91 dx
hey bud, Theres an idle screw on your throttle body. Its a little gold screw and if you turn it clockwise it should drop you idle, do it once the car is already warm though. Most like you have a bad iacv sensor. Try and replace that
