Boosted B or H22
IMO i would have to say money wise and just all around best boosted motor is the b18b. The b18b already has a 9.4 Compression (JDM) and 9.2 Compression (USDM). So When it comes to boosting most people like to use a lower compression. The h22 has like a 10.4 or something. It may have more power to begin with, but the b18b when boosted on a stock block can reach numbers around 250-300 whp and about the same torque. mabey a little less on the torque.
A modded B18b on boost can be psychotic. just check out some of these videos by cheese frog. http://cheesefrog.com/modules....cid=1
But this is just my opinion. what you do is up to you. just telling you what i know.
so it's eather that mean crack of the wip blow off valve
. or a really loud h22.

So why not read up and Search for people who have boosted B-Series and N/A H-Series, and talk to them about what they think, only to come to the conclusion about what YOU want?

There are plenty of places that sell custom axles for h22. Off the top of my head enjo sells axles for i think 700+hp apps.
and what is the point of this thread, this is like asking if h22 is better than B in the prelude forum...

If money is not an option, then why are you limiting yourself to an N/A H22 or a boosted b-series? Technology is shifting and so many new products are now available with the K-series swaps, etc. Currently I have an LS-Turbo civic and an H22 Civic. I love both equally and can't really compare them. For straight line of course the LS-T dominates, but the H22 hatch over all is a more competitive car for different types of racing. I can drag it and run mid 12's all motor, or I can competitively auto-x the car if I wanted. My LS-T car makes too much power to be anywhere near competitive in any type of roadrace/auto-x event, and pretty much is just built for straight line, etc. Do what you want, its your money.
