Default b16 tranny go boom

i recently bought a sirII front clip(b16a w/ hydro trans) from a engine dealer in fairfield OH. I installed it with a couple of friends that had done the swap before in a few weeks (they didnt give me all the parts so i drove back and forth to get them a few times). And after it was in and everything (except the manual ecu and transmission brace that they have yet to get me) was in place, the transmission would kick me out of 5th gear, so i rarely drove the car, but about a month after the installation i was going to my parents house in Portsmouth OH (about 100 or so miles away) and i was almost in town when i was coasting up to a red light and my transmission gripped a gear, i immediatly kicked in the clutch, and it was fine and continued to roll on up. i put the shifter into first and when the light turned green let out on the clutch.....it bucked like a bull at a rodeo. so i kicked in the clutch again and it was fine. i managed to get off to the side of the road and pop my hood, i noticed smoke coming from my transmission vent. smelt kinda like burnt rubber so i thought it may just be my clutch. but i dont know.
After about 40 minutes i got towed to my parents house, and called the engine dealer and asked WTF? lol. they said it wasn't covered (we then had words).
And now i need to know what it could be that is doing that, bad synchro, welded clutch/flywheel, or just plain grenaded tranny? because i mean when the clutch is in its the civic that i grew to love and cherish, but u let it out and even if the shifter is in nuetral...it rolls forward.
Any ideas would be great, as well as products or places to have it fixed.
