Default Alternator removal.

Hey, i did a search but found nothing with any help. Anyways i have a 89 Civic Hb, with a B15b2 i belive. What is the easiest way to remove the alternator while the engine is still in the car? i have the 12mm and 14mm bolts and bracket off the top, that was no problem. But it feels like there is a 14mm bolt on the bottom.

Also when i start the engine, the alternator belt squeks like a B****, i figured the belt is probably too tight, but what the main problem is, is the alternator smokes like hell if the engine is ran. I want to remove it, take it to my auto class and do some test on it with the growler.

Any suggestions would help.

It you want to remove it from the bottom you have to take off the lower bracket on the alternator..

If you want to remove it from the top you have to take out the master cylinder..
