Help pls Electrical
Replaced timing belt after timing belt tensioner failed. Head was not damaged.
Now when I try to start it plugs 2 & 3 will fire or 1 & 4 will fire but not all 4 plugs will fire. I replaced the coil after resistance readings did not read correctly. Also replaced cap and rotor as a precaution.
Could it be the TDC sensor or the little module behind the rotor cover or WHAT?
Car broke after wife put bad gas in it in SEptember( Hurricanes) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you take readings again after you replaced everything??
and are you very sure that the head is ok......the sensors inside the distributor should be ok if the timing tensioner was the only malfunction, they should be fine
since at some point or another all 4 have fired you know its not hardware....
so try resetting the ecu if you havent, could be some freak thing, if not check the sensors, though i dont see why they would go bad all of a sudden....
