i have a sir conversion i am putting on my crx how do you change the 9005/6 lights to h4h setup and make the lowbeams go off when the highs come on because if i wire it up using a ground and the + from each beam the lows will stay on when i turn the brights on and will burn out those expensive weird bulbs fast. i need the brights where i live so wiring it that way is not an option how did you guys do it? thanks jimmy
um, there are 3 wires from the new bulb socket right?... gnd, +L, +H. i did mine a long time ago, but i'm pretty sure i'm remembering correctly. just cut the old sockets off, and splice accordingly. tape off the cround you don't use. it's so easy i can't remember the details.

but the crx keeps both the high and low on when the high is on so if you do that both filaments in the bulb will be on and it will burn out quickly- right?
i ran my sir headlights for like a year just wired strait in, w/ both filliments on at the same time( hi beams), i never blew a bulb and it was pretty bright w/ the hi's on.
