i just bought a 90 civic, has a 98 ex block, 96 ex head, and the 90 ecu. the kid i bought it from said that it needs the 98 ecu because its only running 2 injectors. does anyone know about this ecu swap, the details and how difficult it would be to do?

 

what you need to do is dpfi to mpfi and no need to run 98 ecu. you can run 91 si ecu and msd activator to activate vtec.

 

you will also need obdo injectors, a resistor box, and an obdo dizzy.
