Default floating wrist pins install???Help

Im putting in type s pistons, how do i go about putting the new wrist pins in the piston???? Special way......remeber these are floating, not press......Thanks, Daniel

did you have the rods modified to accept floating?

or if you have aftermarket rods, they are manufactured to accept floating, you should have 2 retaining clips that go on either side of the pin once in the piston, insert one clip on one side, moly lude the pin slide in then insert the other clip, done

Assuming that your rods are bushed/rebushed to accept the floating pins then you just oil the rod journal, piston journal, and the pin and slide it in. Then install the C-clips on either side of the pin. It's a hell of a lot easier than press fit, and is not complicated.
