Default FINALLY <--- B18C1 crx

this car has came along way. i never thought i would do the physical aspects of the swap all by myelf. i lost my swap virginity to this rex and i think i love her. many people contributed during the swap process. props out to henry(ef8_fan), James (jdmjames), mikey, joe (joe_black), james (hrtuning), chris (cbaracing) and any other person who came through with parts/advice (let me know if i missed ya). props out to my brother and the FR crew for letting me kick it around the shop to get what i needed to get done even though my **** was N/A .

the evolution....

the car is obd0 to get it up and running asap. the harness injector clips were converted to obd1 clips and all the necessary additions were grafted into the obd0 harness to work with a obd1 motor.

the full obd1 conversion will be completed when the itb's are added. the car will then run on Neptune software (p28). talk to james (jdmjames) about the harness and james (hrtuning) about Neptune.

Looks good but you need to clean the underside of your hood.

Man, good job. Sometimes when I see threads like this it makes me wish I would have just bought an ITR or GSR engine to go N/A instead of dumping like 4 grand into building up and machining an LS engine

Great job. I love the pics of the wrecked GSR. Did you get anything else out of it? Seats? I know a couple people interested in a GSR dash.

It's nice to see some VW owners also have Hondas. I'm building/restoring a 71 Beetle right now that will be used for Auto Cross and daily driving once my EF Sedan goes under the knife.
