I have recently been having problems shifting from first to second, but only when im trying to accel. fast. When i shift it under 4k rmp theres no problem, but when i get it above that it tends to grind and doesnt go in smoothly. Is this just a common problem in preludes or is it just mine?

 

My problem was the opposite of yours, grinding below 4k. Changed tranny fluid with synchromesh...helped out quite a bit. Still a little stiff when it's cold.
