Default B series guys, a tranny question..

What would you be willing to pay for a 93 Teg LS tranny in good shape? A guy I know has one for 250 which I could use as a backup in case I do go b-series in the future. I liked the gearing of this tranny for everyday driving when I had my b18b crx. BTW, the 250 is for tranny, intermediate shaft, and axles. TIA

That's a good deal, however unless you go turbo, the longer gears will bog down a tuned B-series all-motor.

My $.02.

Good shape? I would throw down 250 for the Axels and the Tranny. That's actually really good for the ys1....It's going on your b series and will make you very happy. I say go for it. even if it's not in good condition, you could salvage it with all the manuals floating around on the internet

$250.00 is a good deal for all that you're getting. Cable trannies are getting harder and harder to find, and when you do regardless of which one it is they're going for grip $$$$$
