Ok. I just bought this last nite. I didnt see it in the day. I paid 250 for it. It is a 90 LS longblock minus-Dizzy and alternator. The only thing that was said to be wrong with it was that the head had burnt valves. I really only wanted a working block anyways. But what has me concerned is that there is some rust in some places and the vavlve cover isnt bolted down and in general i just am not sure of the condition. The had is gonna be taken off today and ill post more pics when that is done. I am just looking for a general review of what I bought. Was it worth it??? I can take more pics if you need to see something else or whatever. Thanks

i say yea. if u going to rip it apart and switch piston get it re-hone also. new bearing and new stuff like that then yea, but if u say you was going to just thrown it in like then i was be like na. i think 250 was a good price since u going to rebuild it . about how many miles it has ?

 

i dunno man i wouldnt of paid that. maybe ls motors are more expensize up there. im buying a 92ls motor for 175 longblock (running nothing wrong) and i paid 250 for my last ls long block which was a 95.
