how do u get the door panels off in an eg, do the window rollers come off? mine seem to be stuck if they do. Window came off track yesterday...and its freezing so im missing school to fix this and a few other things on my eg. any help would be greatly appreciated
hey whats up man, ya u need to take the window roller off. press the panel in and pull the roller out, u will see there is like a pin holding the roller , get something sharp and press it out of place. i used a screw driver. also there are screws holding the panels to the door. one is under the door lock area and the other is a small black thing towards the front. after that, just pop it out and pull it upwards!

thanks alot man! i wasnt sure if it came off or not cuz mine wouldnt budge. Now inside is there 2 racks that roll up the window? cuz the way the windows goin up is as if the side towards the back of the car is gettting pushed up and not the front, then when u roll down the window stays in place, u have to push i down.. i think its the weather and the molding?? anyone?
I actually had the same problem with my old Ej. Check the weatherstripping in the track. It gets bunched or folds in. If you tried to put the window up and thats how it got off track, better start checking junkyards for a new manual window regulator, because its probly bent and will just keep coming off. If it isnt this bad, get some non-greasy silicone spray and get it in the channels so the window slides up and down smoothly. Good luck, it can be a real pain in the ***.
altho your questions was answered, i'm going to add
to take the door panel off, you need to pop that little black thing at the top towards the front of the car, then take the window roller off as stripes said. there is a screw in the door handle area, as well as the little cup thing that you close the door with. pop off the speaker grill. next, you pry around the door panel to pop the little plastic things. after that, you pull the bottom out and slide the panel up, it should come out. that little plastic piece by the side mirror may need to come off, it is just clipped in.
also, the clip that holds the window roller on has a little loop you can grab, and this loop points in the same direction where the **** for the roller is, so you bend that back a little, and look for the loop. i believe it's behind a thin plastic circle, but can't remember.

just use a metal clothes hanger to remove that pin, and the window crank will slid right off

yeah there is a plastic srcew that goes in the panel and is hidden by the dash when the door is closed, just a little phillips head screw driver will do the trick, then there are only two more screws, one behing the handle that opens the door, and one down in that little handle on the panel.

yea got it! that clip was a bitch! But yea, got the panel off and theres 4 bronze bolts for the window brackets, once i took the panel off 2 fell out and there was oversized wholes for them as if force bent the metal were it sits. got some washers to make them wider and that did the trick. Silicone all over the window moldings and BAM im done. NICE SMOOTH UP AND DOWN TRAVELING WINDOW
Thanks alot guys for all ur help!
