Neuspeed Sway Bars and 4WS ?
I'm about to upgrade my sway bars (road racing, and old sway bars mounts are shot).
I have a 4th gen "Si" 4WS, anyone knows if those aftermarket sway bars are OK with the 4WS (esp. the rear one) ??
Also i'll get the front upper tie bar, since i've got the ABS i suppose i must get the VTEC tie bar, am i right ?

There is a company that makes swaybars for 4WS Preludes. I can't remember the name of the company right now, though. I would imagine you have more options than we do in Europe since 4WS Preludes were more common there.
If I were you, I would get a Neuspeed VTEC front strut tower bar. I did. I am glad too because I had an H23, then swapped to H22. The VTEC version fits well in the car even if you have an H23 in it. It works just as well too.
Good luck.

thanx AndyD, so from what you say i suppose the Neuspeed sway bars cannot fit the 4WS ?
I tried to contact Neuspeed about that but they don't seem to answer to emails...
Unforntunately nearly no one makes performance parts for Honda in EU (apart from Quaife)
I have to import everything from the US...
Anyway i'll get that VTEC upper tie bar for Xmas

I don't think the Neuspeed swaybars will fit. I thought you guys might have a better selection than we do here. Guess not.
I do know that there is a company that makes a rear sway for the 4WS Prelude. I just can't remember. I never thought about upgrading them. My car handles well enough on the track for me to consider them.
I don't think anyone makes a rear tower bar for the 4WS though. The 4WS ECU gets in the way. I think that would have to be a custom part.
Based on how my car behaves on the track, if I were you, I would either upgrade BOTH sway bars, or none at all. Doing just a front sway will make the car more prone to understeer.
As of right now, all I have is a Tein Basic coilover and the Neuspeed strut tower bar. The car is VERY neutral (Doesn't have more noticeable understeer compared to oversteer) and very predictable. It's perfect the way it is.
Good luck.

Anyone happen to know the color of the stock sway bar ? I bought my car used and it came with a pretty big blue one. I was asking because its ripping out of the mounts and the stock shouldnt do that. And i heard the this is a common problem with these cars.
dcrbin22, the stock sway bar is black. Mine is stock and yet the mounts are torn away... That's why i'm considering upgrading everything (Neuspeed mounts are very sturdy)

Yep i understand, but my sway bar mounts are shot anyway, so replacing everything at once would be a good idea
I wonder what's different between 2WS and 4WS rear sway bars, since the 4WS doesnt seem to be connected to the sway bar in any way ..? i haven't looked there long enough, and i'd need someone with a 2WS version to show up and let me take a look under his car...

Same here, but i'm at a point where stock body roll become annoying, and well, i just want sturdy beefy parts under there...

I don't see why the normal Prelude sway bars wouldn't work on a 4WS Prelude. The way the bar sits is about the exact same as the stock ones, only the bar is a little bigger.
I DO remember one suspension mod getting in the way of the brain box for the 4WS, but simply moving the box would allow you to use them.
