Questions about ADJUSTABLE COIL-OVERS......Help please...
I want to lower my car soon, im only 17 so i cant really afford the higher end equipment but i am willing to try and buy some cheap lowering springs....
I have a friend who had Skunk2 Adjustable Coil-Overs on his 94 Civic Coupe, and i had another friend who had some cheap eBay adjustables.....
To me they were identical...I dont get the difference, except for the hugge price difference since you can get deals on ebay for some cheap kits for like 30 bucks now.....
Im just wonderings if there is a huge difference or anything......Is it ok to buy the ones from eBay and use them til i can afford better springs???......
Let me know soon, thanks alot

If you are on a budget, that is not in the $30 range, get yourself some Omni Power Coilover Sleeves. IDENTICAL to Skunk2 and Ground Control, but only $177 shipped from http://www.kteller.com
I have them and love them. Omni is GREAT stuff.

i have ebay coilovers on my 92 si HB, i have exel F1 17 inch black rims with 205/40/17 there used to be about a 4" fender gap , but now there is no fender gap, it kinda tucks about 1/2" under the fender also and it doesnt rub(due to high fender wells)....the rear coilovers are set all the way down, while the two front are 3 notches up, also i only paid $74 shipped...i would recommend getting ebay

You get what you pay for, and suspension isn't something you should cheap out on.</TD></TR></TABLE>

heres what i have. its not the best but it works. ive had mine for a while now and havent had any problems with them. they are really stiff. best price you can find. you get both coilovers and struts. if your going to lower your car at least change out your struts too. your factory struts arent made to be lowered.

You'll want to replace your shocks with some aftermarket ones. I think I did my suspension kind of half assed with omni sleeves and KYB AGXs and it still cost me around $500 for the parts and shipping.
