Know that I can post pics I figured I could give you a peak at me Civ.I got this from the originall owner,YES- A LITTLE OLD LADY THAT GARAGED KEPT IT!(thus no cancer)I have had this car almost a year 1/2 now and am currently stocking up on parts during the winter season. This was this past summer that it looked like this with some painted steelies, coil overs, tails, projectors, ect. I got some 17"s for it know, a C.F. hood tuned the exhaust and even found a REAL C.F. "Mugen Power" plate frame (just for a touch of flare, I usually don't join the the mainstream retail name showboat crowd) But besides my H.F.P. badges and a few embriodered products on the inside I try to keep a clean look. And yes the bumpers are staying black(at least for now).I have had my fair share of body kits and finally desided that I wanted to drive my car year round and with all the panels on it at once. Besides I am trying to go with the blacked out theme. The lights in the pic were the booty carbon look alikes. Sold them and am currently saving for the plane black ones to match my corners and projectors.
Any ways here it is for you to appretiate or hate

 

H.F.P. or Honda Factory Performance didn't exist until 10 years after you car was made, so there's nothing "factory performance" about it... but at least you didn't get the HRD or Honda Racing Development badge which is something that doesn't exist and is just confusion between the Toyota's thing. So even though it's better then disgusting, it still doesn't make any sense.

Altezza's look awful (IMO), 17" is too big (also IMO), Mugen Power Plate is dumb if you don't have anything Mugen on the car (not my opinion, just common sense).

That about sums up the flaming you'll get. As for my response, same as above. Lose the tails and the meaningless badges and you'll have an awesome ride.

Keep that thing looking stock.. put the stock tails and lights back in. If you must get wheels, get some OEM wheels.. like HX or Civic Si wheels, even GSR wheels... That would look nice.

That car just looks like its in too good of condition to be riced, its not often you come across a virgin EF

Very true-. But i figured as long as all I do is bolt on stuff to the body and motor,and nothing stupid like molding my bumpers permently to the car ,
then I can always put it back to stock. However, I juyst cant settle wuth the factory wheels from another Civic, just not me. But thanmks for the feed back
P.S. this thing is babied, Trust me, Im not Vin Diesel and don't have a fire exstiguisher hanging from my pillar for anticipation of when I wreck it or blow it up.

i can see how you want it to stand out, if you want to change the tails, jdm looks hot:



or get a set of factory ones and hit them with ONE COAT of tint spray, just to darken them a bit. or buy a set of full bra clear tails, and hit them with a couple coats of candy apple red paint, and a clear coat to protect it. and plus the car is already red, you want to talk about a sick setup...

theres lots of stuff you can do to make the car stand out, but unfortunatley HFP doesnt make anything for our cars.

good luck with your car, make it how you want it, remember, we really dont matter, its your car when the day is done.
