Jumping Engine
In the mornings when i turn on my 97 accord and shift to reverse, my car jumps and this only happens when i dont warm up the car long enough. If i warm up teh car, its fine. this is starting to happen alot now. Anyone have any advice or had this problem before ?
does that happen to anyone else? I live in so cal its not that cold in the mornings. Should i fear any problems that might arise from this >?
I own a 91 EX...and it jumps all the time. I posted the problem up, and they said it could be my mounts. Judging from the info you've provided, i agree with jwogen1. I dont think its your mounts, probably the weather.
I'm assuming an automatic?
Tranny fluid thins out as it gets warmer, so the valving tending to shift faster if the fluid is cool and thicker. It appears that this is what you are dealing with. But then again, I own a manual......and in that case, your clutch is'nt disingauging completely.
